• Verification through the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program that the property is eligible for the Arkansas and/or Federal Historic Tax Credit Program
  • Consultation about the nature of the project and if all aspects will qualify for the Arkansas and/or Federal tax credit programs
  • Historic research on the property
  • Specific before and after construction photos
  • Consultation with owner and contractor on the scope of work to be completed
  • Documentation on scope of work to be completed on the property, which will conform to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation for Historic Properties
  • Completing the paperwork which consists of three separate historic preservation certification application forms
  • Consultation with Arkansas Historic Preservation Program and/or National Park Service (Federal Tax Credits) on behalf of owner should construction questions or concerns arise
  • Assistance with selling the Arkansas Tax Credit
